PAIO, a British payment provider, has announced the launch of its UnionPay International card acquiring service. The company is expanding its card acceptance capabilities through a strategic partnership with DECTA, a global payment processing company.
The new integration enables PAIO merchants to accept UnionPay cards both online and in-store, providing access to one of the world’s largest cardholder networks. This strengthens PAIO’s offering for businesses seeking to serve Asian markets and meet the growing demand for cross-border transactions.
"We’re pleased to extend our acquiring portfolio with UnionPay International, making it easier for merchants to connect with millions of new customers," said Yuliia Nikulina, CEO of PAIO. "By partnering with DECTA, we’re ensuring a fast, secure, and reliable processing environment that supports global commerce without additional complexity."
UnionPay, which serves more than 180 countries and regions worldwide, represents a significant step forward for PAIO in supporting international merchants. The acquiring capability completes the company’s existing card acceptance options, helping partners scale their reach across diverse customer bases.
This launch strengthens PAIO’s role as a payment provider, offering flexible, compliant, and innovative solutions for global merchants.
